Throughout your life, you have made sport intensively and it is likely that your joints have suffered. Good news: Many food supplement can help promote healing of your joints, you avoid problems and stay at your best.
Fish oil: Fish oil, rich in omega-3, is probably the best of these supplements. By reducing inflammation, fish oil helps to heal faster and reduces both pain and stiffness suffered by arthritis.
In most cases, fish oil contains trade approximately 30% of omega-3, which include EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). Six: grams per day of salmon oil to 30% of omega-3 capsules or extract fish oil equivalent to the dose used for arthritis in clinical trials. This is a perfect dose if your joints are very painful, but one to two grams a day is enough to talk.
In addition it protects against heart attacks and strokes, the anti-inflammatory properties of EPA appear to reduce the loss of muscle mass in animals. It could thus have a dual purpose: to prevent muscle loss in older people and provide an additional preventive medical.
If you are allergic to fish or if you need surgery, consult your doctor before consuming fish oil. A high intake of fish oil thins the blood so it is wise to consult your doctor if you are taking blood thinners or anti-inflammatory.
Glucosamine sulfate: Glucosamine is also beneficial for the joints. Clinical studies show a beneficial effect in the treatment of arthritis. Glucosamine may help to prevent wear of the joints and tendons due to the sport.
These studies suggest that glucosamine is compatible with the anti-inflammatory such as aspirin or ibuprofen, as it accelerates the renewal and rebuilding of tissues. In most tests, the subjects took from 1500 to 2000 mg of glucosamine sulfate per day for at least eight weeks to record a significant impact. Glucosamine is likely to result in a slight increase in insulin resistance, take a break after your pains have disappeared and avoid taking more than six months away.
SAMe: S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe) is a co-enzyme used by the body to produce various compounds, dopamine in the brain to the elements for the healing of joints such as glucosamine. SAMe has anti-inflammatory therapies for joints and looks very promising as a supplement in the fight against pain.
Inflammation and free radicals that result from being responsible for many of the · problems after joint exercises, SAMe appears to both protect and promote their recovery. Studies suggest that this supplement helps to reduce joint degeneration and arthritis. In principle, it should take 800 to 1200 mg of SAMe per day for joint pain or burning. Take two or three doses of 400 mg on an empty stomach. Knowing that SAMe is destroyed by light, buy pills individually packaged in the aluminum foil or supplied in opaque bottles. Avoid SAMe if you are taking antidepressants or if you suffer from bipolar syndrome or other psychiatric disorder.
